Denver-based digital consulting firm Tonic was built on the “belief that an exceptional team with great values and a desire to do good can make a profound impact.” They strategize, build and support digital platforms so their client organizations can best make their own unique mark on the world.
Tonic’s commitment to their mission doesn’t stop at digital solutions: they donate 3% of their profits to causes they believe in, plant a tree for each billable hour (over 100,000 and counting!), and are currently at work on four “impact projects” to help improve the world around them. Oh, and they have been named a Best Place to Work by Inc for the past 3 years…which, by the way, is also the length of time they’ve been partnering with Denver Headshot Co. Coincidence? Client Goals: When Tonic updated their website, they needed both new images for current staff and an efficient way to ensure photos for new hires had the same consistent look. The images needed to feel modern, fun, and cohesive without losing the authentic personality of each team member. They started partnering with Denver Headshot Co around three years ago and continue to send their new staff to our studio in RiNo for photos, often within weeks of starting at Tonic.
Photographer’s Creative Vision: We love working with Tonic. One thing that’s consistently true with this company is that all of their people are awesome and so unique. We wanted to make sure that clearly came through in their photos. The background color and lighting is clean and modern to match Tonic’s aesthetic. Then, we chose a wider, less formal crop for the headshot. Each session also includes 3/4 and full body pictures to really showcase each individual’s personality through their clothing. The photos end up feeling casual and fun while still professional, just like the culture at Tonic.
