Standard Crop
Our standard horizontal crop includes head, shoulders and some of the torso. This crop allows for the most flexibility for usage and easily fits vertical, horizontal and square layouts. We show slightly more torso than a classic headshot to help show more of the individual’s personality, while still keeping the focus on the face.
Our standard crop is the fastest option and can be done in any of our sessions.

3/4 or Half Body Crop
Our 3/4 (shown) or half body (waist up) crop is a versatile option for marketing and looks great alongside a column of text. Choose this crop if you want to show more personality and context through body language and clothing.
This crop is less popular than the standard crop because people are often self-conscious about their stomachs and hips, though it is generally more flattering than full body. It also requires more time since the photographer has to direct positioning for legs and hands.
We do not recommend choosing this crop and then cropping the image to a standard headshot after the session as it decreases the quality of the photo.
This crop requires a minimum of 5-7 minutes per person.

Full Body Crop
A full body crop can be a great option for marketing and design layout. The more we show of an individual’s body, the more a viewer can get a real sense of the person in the photo. This is a more vulnerable crop since it doesn’t hide anything and can really help to establish a sense of trust with your audience. Keep in mind, though, that most people do not like full body images of themselves.
We do not recommend choosing this crop and then cropping the image to a standard headshot after the session as it decreases the quality of the photo.
This crop takes the most time due to increased posing for the entire body and requires a minimum of 7-10 minutes per person.

2 Crops?
Yes, we can absolutely do 2 crops per person to give you maximum options. As a heads up, this will require double the time to photograph each person to get the highest quality image for each angle.
2 crops requires a minimum of 12-15 minutes per person.
